Centralized Lone Worker Applications for Worker Safety

The Centralized Lone Worker application provides organizations with extra safety and security for their employees who carry MOTOTRBO radios. Centralized Lone Worker can be automatically activated depending on the time of day or the location of a person. The solution ensures that the worker is not in a dangerous situation by sending a text message to the radio at predefined intervals of time to which the employee must respond to confirm their status. If a person fails to respond to a message an alarm is immediately raised to colleagues and emergency support teams. This solution ensures that companies are well prepared to respond efficiently and automatically to emergency situations their lone workers may encounter on the job.

The hermesTRX system has been enhanced with an Emergency Man Down and Lone Worker function to provide GPS based Lone-worker Supervision using Open Street Maps or Google Earth as its mapping platform. The hermesTRX Man Down Option Board is designed to be retrofitted into the MOTOROLA range of MOTOTRBO hand portable radios. In the event that an employee becomes injured or falls unconscious a 'man-down' notification is sent immediately to the hermesTRX Dispatch position.

Teldio's Man-Down Notifier (MDN) is an intelligent solution that provides proactive surveillance of employee wellbeing and dispatches automatic emergency notifications to the appropriate response individuals or groups when the need arises. To do this, MDN monitors workers by detecting a lack of movement, a horizontal tilt, or a combination of both. In the event of an emergency, the solution automatically dispatches automatic emergency notifications to the appropriate response individuals or groups.
